The Chelan County Fair

First weekend in September

This County Fair is one of the largest in north central Washington. For many years, Valley residents and visitors have roamed the fairgrounds enjoying the thrill-rides at the carnival, watching the cowboys ride at the PWRA rodeo, listening to live music performances, and exploring the thousands of 4-H exhibits. And, of course, enjoying the myriad food options. The Fair even has a Sr. Citizen’s Day and a Kid’s Day with special entertainment. Fiestas Mexicanas

Second weekend in September

This event not only attracts the Latino Community, it also brings in other ethnic groups. This event provides culture awareness and education about the history, lifestyle and people of Mexico. An event for the whole family! Fiestas Mexicanas is a celebration of Latin American Independence Day.  This is an opportunity to enjoy traditional Latin food, great entertainment with local groups and two groups directly coming from Mexico plus a whole lot more.  More information on their website
